3 Day Art Intensive

I have been in creative industries my whole career. This opportunity is ideal for Graduates that are heading in this direction - a 3 Day Intensive will give them insight to plan, inspiration to explore creativity, and real life exposure to the challenges and potential the Art Industry offers.

Location studio k2 - DyeWorks Building,

The Cotton Factory, Hamilton, Ontario

The workshops all take place in Karen's studio space - it has a funky, industrial vibe. Each participants will have a work station.

Instructor karen klucowicz

Karen has managed a career in multiple industries - marketing and advertising, interior design and fine art - all of these ventures lend her skills to teach the administrative and creative side to participants. Intensive

Each day runs from 10:00am to 4:30pm

Workshops:

- Informative guidance to the required business aspects of a career in this industry (accounting, project management, income managing...)

- Creative hands-on art making -  concepts, drawing, painting, sculpting. Portfolio/inventory  projects will be created.

- All materials for each workshop are included.

Additional Opportunities:

- Networking - multiple professionals work out of and are accessible in this creative hub — musicians, writers, architects, visual artists.

- Visiting artists - from our pool of creatives artists from different disciplines (geared to participants) will be invited for conversations and sharing.

- Critiques and guidance - one-on-one interaction with ongoing projects with klucowicz and others as required.

Dates

There are scheduled dates for this intensive for groups (three participants maximum) or we can schedule to suit your Grad's summer plans for one-on-one intensives geared specifically to their interests.

Fees

Group intensives: June 2, 3 & 4  |   July 7, 8 & 9    | August 4, 5 & 6  $450

One-On-One: scheduled to suite $650

Note: Light snacks and beverages (coffee, water, snack bars) are included however Meals will not be provided. Participants are welcome to bring their own or local restaurants are nearby.
