Sunday November 15th | Sunday December 6th | 1:30-4:30pm

Friday October 16th | Saturday November 14th | 7-9pm

Bring your besties to a life drawing evening with live nude models. No experience? No problem. This is a casual, fun evening and you’ll be guided step by step on how to draw the human body. Wine and light snacks included. Cost per person: $55+hst

🧘MOMs Back-to-School

Your creative time on Your schedule. Now the kids are settling into school, book an abstract painting or drawing workshop with me! I will accommodate the hours you are available. You & I will create a painting on the same canvas!


I am frequently asked by students if they can watch me paint. I believe you'll get more out of it if we paint the same canvas together. We'll concept a piece then as we paint I will "paint out loud" - telling you why I'm doing something, the vision I have for a colour application etc. etc. - that way you'll not only learn techniques as I paint you'll also be able to respond to my work and practice at the same time. This will be done in professional artist acrylics on a gallery canvas and you will take the piece home.

“Bachelorette” or Girls' Night Out - This experience is all about drawing the human figure.


Great fun to celebrate the “last” hurrah and a great reason to get together with the girls!


Gather your friends and try your hand together at life drawing. This 2.5 hour experience features a nude model (male or female or both if you want to do a “stag and doe” night).


You’ll be guided through this life drawing event with technique demos (and you’ll be practicing) in pencil, chalk and colour.  All materials, wine and light refreshments are included for this painting party.

This art experience is perfect for gathering friends - you can all relax, unwind and get creative together or make it a private party for two.


You'll be set up with wine from a local winery and light snacks to enjoy while you create. All materials are included (you'll want to wear comfy clothes and ones you don't mind getting a bit of paint on - it happens sometimes!). We'll start with a little journaling to clear the mind then you move on to concept and create a meaningful work of art together!

"Full disclaimer - although I consider myself a creative person I would not say I am artistic person. My husband would say he is neither creative or artistic, but Karen (studio) owner was convinced that we would be able to conceptualize and paint a piece of art TOGETHER that represented a theme we agreed upon reflecting our relationship. I decided to make it a surprise date night since I didn't know if my husband would go for it. He was definitely surprised and I was even more surprised that we left with a beautiful and FULLY FINISHED piece of art that means something special to us (now hanging in my office). The 2 hours went by really quickly (in a good way) and I think it comes down to how it was broken down. Karen explained the process (not limited to just painting) and set up the studio so we each had some space to practice drawing before we put paint to canvas. A blank canvas is a bit daunting so it was great to do some test runs on paper, plus she gave lots of instruction on how to start, different techniques and how to mix colours. I think what sets this apart from other paint nights is that you leave with something completely unique and get to learn some cool artsy stuff in the process. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone - experienced or not. There's enough instruction (without being intrusive) to get you there regardless of level of experience."
