a studio... a pandemic... a plan

thank goodness creative is flexible...
I am in the midst of launching studio k2. I’ve had this vision for some time and have now synthesized my concepts to create an environment and a business to collaborate with other artists, to teach workshops, conduct art-experience retreats AND continue my own painting. Ambitious? I believe art is a powerful tool for those that create, and for others to utilize and grow their experiences, and for businesses to engage talent and ultimately grow their company.
In February of this year I started to look at finding a location to put my business plan in place - found it! Signed the lease, paid the deposits and then.... COVID-19 hit full force. Life’s a process and while it was a blow to the initial launch plans I’m bringing it around to weather this storm and have continued to get the studio ready, the website underway, exploring activities that I can participate in, and creating virtual events that I can bring to others. It has been challenging. I haven’t got the rhythm down yet but I’m getting closer.
